98.5% of coffee is water, yet it’s often the least controlled ingredient—until now. The Café Station 1™ changes coffee brewing by giving you complete control over water quality and mineral content, making every cup extraordinary.

Using SuperiorOsmosis™ technology, Café Station 1™ purifies the water up to 99.7%, removing contaminants like microplastics and PFAS. This pure water is then enriched with our unique Swedish mineral blend called Liquid Rock™, with a perfect 2:1 Calcium to Magnesium ratio. This enhances the natural flavors of your coffee beans, allowing you to tailor the water to your preference.

Designed for baristas, Café Station 1™ offers full customization through the Bluewater app. It allows you to precisely adjust the mineral intake, offering complete control over taste aspects like acidity and sweetness. With multiple mineralization levels, you can choose the taste that suits you and your customers best.

Our Liquid Rock Minerals Enhance Coffee Taste

Liquid Rock® is our proprietary blend of Swedish minerals used in Café Station 1™ to create a stable and controlled water profile for coffee. Developed and produced in Sweden with a focus on precision, stability and respect for the coffee itself.

Magnesium

Our magnesium enhances the extraction of flavorful compounds from coffee beans. It dissolves organic acids and aromatic compounds for a balanced, complex flavor with brighter notes. Additionally, our magnesium alters hardness and pH, which affects flavor balance. Our highly water-soluble magnesium minimizes scale build-up in coffee machines, increases water hardness, and raises pH, thereby reducing acidity. This allows you to control the taste extraction from your coffee beans.

Calcium

Calcium increases the TDS of the water, reducing the extraction of bitter compounds from coffee beans and ensuring a smoother flavor. It also raises the pH, resulting in less acidity. Our specially designed water-soluble calcium reduces scale build-up in your coffee machine, enhancing both flavor and maintenance.

How does this system work?

  • Step 1: The water passes through our pre-filtration, which is a GAC filter (granular activated carbon), removing larger impurities.
  • Step 2: The water is then pressed through our SuperiorOsmosis membrane, which purifies the water up to 99.7%, removing contaminants such as PFAS and microplastics. This results in water with a TDS of around 4, meaning only water molecules remain.
  • Step 3: You select the desired mineral dosing via the app based on your recipe or flavor preference.
  • Step 4: The purified water is remineralized according to your chosen recipe.
  • Step 5: The mineralized water is delivered either through the faucet or directly to the espresso machine.
